Just out of interest, I wonder if this complaining woman has any Nieces? If so I wonder what colour are their dolls, am I right in thinking she is a black person?
The reason I asked the Q J.J. If white doll were sold would Black people kick off or would they just laugh it off & leave the rest to the race relations Board. I'm sure my first reply was plain enough.
We all know about equality, it's the Minority out of the majority that causes the problem, I do not think the person in that shop was a racist person, it was a sale of these dolls and that was it, go to any Toys R us and see how many Black people go in there without issues regards the colour of the dolls, a big fuss from a silly woman who's got a chip on her shoulder & she should get into the real world.
My granny had a golly throughout her childhood - she'd be 96 now - which was passed to my sister and me. We all loved it and the idea that it was racist never occurred to any of us.
