All this is a nonsense. Mr Khan is only copping it because he should not have been involved. It is something for internals not 'front page' news.
Unfortunately there are some who would change everything in our great country, they are the ones dragging it down and making us look like foos.

I have working in numerous companies here and abroad and a one man band shop is the only place I have seen this. The same for restaurants/ pubs I have only seen this twice, once in a dodgy brick lane curry house and one in the Tranny Arms in Bruxelles.

I am not sure how long back AOG is referring to. The fifties were dreadful, and most of us who were working class had very little; our parents had work, but in the main it was horrible work and paid just enough for families to survive. The sixties offered more hope and some could afford the odd luxury, but that was short-lived as the seventies brought more despair.
Did you live in a slum, AOG? If not did you ever see the living condition for yourself?
