I think such a ridiculous comparison from someone who clearly does not support democracy but wishes to imply it is just mob rule, needs no apologising for. It says more about the thought processes or those who came up with it, than it does about reality; and it is justice enough that they who suggested it will need to bear the fully justified ridicule of their fellow citizens.
You can't please all the people all the time Eddie and someone has to be disappointed. In this case it is 48%. That's life.
Let the remainers stamp their little feet and call the majority all the names they like it just shows them up for what they are.
But I digress. The name calling and scaremongering (different from project fear but basicly the same) by the remainers has to get bigger and bigger because no one is taking any notice of them. They have to find more ways to say the same thing because their brains just can't cope with the majority not agreeing with them. Perhaps in their own worlds they are surrounded by yes men who massage their egos to such an extent that they actually believe their own *** doesn't smell.

"I have said before that the will of the 48% seems to be totally ignored!"
You keep saying this, Eddie. What do you suggest is done? Ignore the will of the 52%? Supposing the result had been reversed (i.e. 52% Remain). Would you be calling for the will of the 48% Leavers to be somehow recognised?
It was evident from about 5:30am on 24th June, when Mr Dimblebore gravely announced "That's it. We're out!" that the BBC would be collectively very sore losers. This is just one manifestation of that and once again, had the result been reversed, we would not be hearing Mr Jacobson uttering such inane remarks.

I mean that I was in favour of Remain as you all know. I am now fully accepting that we will leave but I realise it is going to take time to organise. Why can not the winning side see that this is going to be far more complicated than anyone realised, that it is essential to get it right, and that it going to take time?

All the winning side can't see that this is going to be far more complicated than anyone realised, that it is essential to get it right, and that it going to take time?
Really?
