Liverpool FC were very successful back then. It was just another season of success for them and they stayed in the pubs until about 14:50. For Nottingham Forest, success was much more sporadic, so their fans were cock-a-hoop that their team had reached the semi final of the cup. Those guys got to the ground in plenty of time

We've covered this subject on here many times.....they need to let it go. Yes, it was a tragedy but nobody expected it to go the way it did. Police were understaffed that day, they couldn't cope with the extra burden and disaster followed.
The biggest factor was the ground set up, brought about as a result of years of increasing football hooliganism, thus fans were treated like cattle.
The Liverpool fans have had their victory(and rightly so), now, as The Beatles might say, let it be.

That is why a second series of Inquests had to be held, because of the perjury by the Police in the first Inquests. The second Inquests put right the gross errors made in the first ones.....but you know that, don't you ?

^^I can scarcely believe that I read that. All inquests are to have at least one other. Would there have been a third, if the second hadn't reached the "correct" conclusion. You know like referendum or election results that are deemed to be unacceptable.
