And now we are led to believe that all immigrants are people "who contribute nothing to society, fiddle tax and claim child support for children back home who ... drumroll ... don't even exist!"
That isn't evidence of any kind, let alone empirical......its just a rant.

Thanks for the correction jackdaw.
Mikey, using the old 'I don't have to produce any evidence' makes you look childish and demonstrates that your guilty of exactly the thing your accusing NoM of. Arguing de facto is always the winner, otherwise you're just giving an unsubstantiated opinion which, as seen day after day on here, just leads to silly arguments.

It's nothing of the sort, Mikey.
I've never mentioned drunk poles and A&E in the same sentence. But you already know that.
What is a fact is that liver specialists are inundated with Polish immigrants who have serious complications of chronic excess of alcohol intake. Working in cancer services and dealing with a large proportion of UGI malignancies, we are seeing more and more people with hepatocellular carcinoma, nearly all of whom have a longstanding history of alcohol excess, and a vast proportion of whom are immigrants.
Why can you not accept the word of someone who know and sees this on a daily basis.
Simple answer: You just don't want to.

I cannot help but agree the tide gates have been opened and the flood has caused problems for NHS..housing and benefits system....we do have a lot of overseas immigrants working in NHS ..however these problems are fairly recent and to my mind caused by our open doors/borders to Europe..which is why I voted out !
