I don't see it as point scoring either.Mr Mahmood seems very genuine in his offer and there was little evidence of bitterness on show. It would be interesting if Katie Hopkins did take up the offer and would hopefully provide a decent final chapter in what was a terrible and costly misjudgment on her part and her employer.
vortex, haha! My avatar emanates from bygone days when gentle custard pies were the preferred weapon of choice during in-depth debates in the Religion & Spirituality section of the AnswerBank. It came to me courtesy of another ABer, the quite brilliant and utterly inimitable ‘Mibn2cweus’, who at one time displayed its counterpart as his avatar – a man receiving a custard pie smack in the kisser! Sperlatt! :o)
Khandro - //Zacs; Katie Hopkins has served in the British armed forces, - hardly a parasite. //
Being in the armed forces is not a passport to sainthood - just because Ms. Hopkins was not a parasite at one time in her life does not automatically infer that she is not one now.
She's parasitic insofar as, if there wasn't any controversial news, she wouldn't have a job. I nearly put 'career' but making gain out of other peoples misery or misfortune doesn't warrant that epithet.
