People who assign traits of promiscuity to gay men forget about Ashley Madison.
What they tend to do, is denounce gay men for sexual promiscuity when straight men would do exactly the same if they could.
Weirdly the same people rail against same sex marriage, where gay people want to settle down, whilst simultaneously denounce gay people as sexually promiscuous and incapable of long term commitment.
These people must be very good at rubbing their stomachs whilst patting their heads.
