Theresa May, or her team, have repeatedly said 'No White Paper' and indeed were still saying it this morning. She had no choice though. A significant number of her MPs were threatening to rebel
Danny....she wasn't keen before yesterday Court decision was she ?
She could have saved an awful lot of money and time, if she had announced this straight after the first Court decision last year, instead of now.
"Before Mrs May's announcement, opposition parties and more than half a dozen Conservative MPs including some ex-ministers had called for a White Paper - a government policy document which sets out proposals for future acts of Parliament - on Brexit."
A previous Tory PM might have described her as "frit"
A white paper is to explain and expand on proposed legislation. The A50 act will bw the shortest and simplest in history, what's to explain? She's probably done it to stop the whining from some the remoaners.
Stop waffling Mikey,if she didn't say there would not be a white paper then in no way did she back down.As usual you are putting your own slant on things.

It was reasonable to see if the judges came to a sensible decision or not before having to comply. I don't see the problem myself. Now forced to go through the fiasco of having to debate it all again, the paper has been promised. Now it is just a case of seeing how much fuss the anti-democracy MPs make to delay/derail it.
