If I was President Trump,. and I wanted someone to sound and look credible on my behalf, I'd find someone who can look confident, not like a rabbit in headlights, and someone who can speak in a moderate even tone, and not trip over every third word, lose his breath, pronounce names correctly.
If (when?) DT drags his country into a major war, I wouldn't hold out much hope for their naval success. Sean Spicer is a Commander in the US Naval Reserve, meaning that he could be called upon to take command of a destroyer. I find that somewhat worrying!
It must be difficult finding someone prepared to stand in front of an audience of knowledgeable investigative reporters and defend the Bulls***t , 'Alternative Facts' and outright lies that Trump is spouting!
Naomi - //Zacs-Master, Why would I defend him? Is he the subject of a witch hunt too? //
If describing someone as being useless at their job is a 'witch hunt' - then he probably is - but I'd suggest that it's just that - an accurate description of another buffoon in a position of authority in America.
Zacs-master, I can't see why. I abhor witch hunts - regardless of the identity of the victim. I'd even go so far as to defend you or andy-hughes in those circumstances. ;o)
Am I alone in thinking in that Spicer looks like some kind of glove puppet here....either that another person's head on top of someone's else's shoulders ?
They be better off getting an actor and just giving them a set script for each question. You can't defend something if you are intelligent enough to know it is utter rubbish.
To expect an intelligent, well educated and eloquent statesman to defend a Trump pronouncement is like expecting an internationally respected astronomer to defend a statement from the 'Flat Earth Society'
