Perhaps people can remember the CH4 documentary that was aired last June, in which it seems that Bert Spencer incriminated himself. I though he was about as chilling as its possible to be.

Oops - The book by Paul Foot was Murder at the Farm: Who killed Carl Bridgewater?
Bad Company was the name of the TV programme.

Bigbad....lets hope the Police get off their behinds this time, and investigate properly. If they hadn't cocked it up the first time, the real murderer would have been in prison a long time ago.

Anyone who has studied this case will realise that Spencer was involved in the original investigation, by the now discredited Police force.

I’ve always had a fascination with this case (among others), Mikey.

I re-read the Paul Foot book after the Hubert Spencer/Dr. David Wilson programme was shown last summer.
Not an easy book to get hold of, but if you are as interested as you seem to be, then do see if you can track down a copy.
Well worth a read.

The book doesn’t prove Spencer’s guilt or innocence, divebuddy.
I recommended it based on the evidence that didn’t get heard in court in the trial of the Bridgewater 4.

And I’ve always thought Spencer did it.
