andy-I think sqad a saying that as things stand at present it is white farmers who are being killed but when there are black farmers being killed too we can then say "it's not safe to be a farmer (regardless of colour)"

Back to the South African farmers - thank you for bringing this up AOG. It wasn't a new story I was aware of.

What are the SA government doing to curb this? I think we all know the origins of land ownership in the country, but even if the farmers have gotten their land through nerfarious means, it's no excuse to allow banditry to thrive.

I may be ill-informed but I didn't think it had been considered safe for white farmers or land owners in South Africa for many many years.

I would have a farm in South Africa given to me, reminds me of how it would have been in the old wild west.
