Don’t know about the Norwegian Prime Minister, but bearing in mind my post at 10:55 perhaps their computers did bleep when Mohamed Ali’s son arrived. Who knows why they stopped him?
I wish you lot would stop the playground spat and the childish reporting.

/// There's protection...and then there is also bullying, intimidation and embarrassment for those who are entering legally. ///
Sometimes some have to suffer a little intimidation and embarrassment, in the process of finding out those who are entering legally and those who are not.
Yet again the majority suffering for the minority.

What's the role of the ESTAs in all this? Surely they are their to weed out undesirables before they travel. On our last trip we had a potential problem at check in, we were asked for copies of our ESTAs, which we've never had, and there was a nervous few minutes when she went behind the scenes to check it. That was in the UK before we even joined a transatlantic flight! As far as TSA go we've only had positive experiences.
Personally, I think that every little incident with US border control is making it into the news and in reality, it is nothing to do with Trump. I know airline crew who go into the States and get hauled aside because their name is the same as someone on a list of known suspects. This has been the case since 9/11. The silly thing is that after being interrogated in a side room at Immigration and being found to OK, the same thing happens the next time they go into the States and the next time.
