...if Trump provides us with some evidence, that would be one thing.

But it's now been three days.

Do you think that the time has come for Trump to provide either some evidence or the sources of this information?

Whatever you think of the U.S President, he is the President and should be addressed in an adult manner.
To address him as you have is entirely puerile in my opinion.
He has never apologised to anyone. He didn't apologise for calling Obama a liar over his place of birth, and I very much doubt that he will apologise now.

If he did, it would be an admission that he was wrong, and that will never happen !
I don't think sp was actually addressing President Chump Chimp Chomp Tramp Trump :-)
He isn't going to apologise is he let's face it. He's been insulting people in an unpresidential fashion for months: it's part of what makes him tick and in a way it is quite entertaining.

I used to think that, but then that was before I heard the clip of Chump telling us how you can grab women.
// he is the President and should be addressed in an adult manner. //

um - the president of the good old US of A has referred to his predecessor as 'sick' and a 'bad guy'

so perhaps your criticism should be addressed to the white house saqad......
yeah Mikey I was gonna point out that Trump never apologised over the birth certificate lie

( that there was a birth certificate showing Obama was not born American and should therefore not be president of the land of the free - there wasnt )

And let's be honest - how many times has Tony Blair been referred to as Bliar on AB?

No-one complains about that, so...

But leaving that aside - do you think that C̶h̶u̶m̶p̶ Trump can ride this one out?
sp......so on that basis, would you address President Clinton as President Clitoris? You know.....Monica Lewinski.....or Clinton being a Democrat might be differemt?
The Donald can do anything because he is President. He will not apologise. He cheapens the office of President by littering the Twittersphere with his baseless allegations. He should be careful to only say things he can prove, but that is not his style.

You do feel a little bit sorry for his lackeys having to try to keep
things on track but I suspect they are in for a busy 4 years. Hopefully they are being handsomely paid for babysitting the Prez.

No.

Because that was a rubbish joke.

I would refer to him as the Philander-In-Chief.

That would be witty.

Clinton/Clitoris is just...bad humour.
You must have solved this case then, sp?

Question Author
Ahem...

Philanderer.
"And let's be honest - how many times has Tony Blair been referred to as Bliar on AB? "

I objected to that as well.

"But leaving that aside - do you think that C̶h̶u̶m̶p̶ Trump can ride this one out?"

I don't know, but the easiest way to sort it out would be for Obama (White House) to sue President Trump for slander.
No sign of that yet.

Sorry -Talbot-

I don't understand.
sp...c'mon.

Trump...Chump
Clinton.....? philanderer?
Sqad, If Trump behaved in a 'Presidential manner' rather than acting like a spoilt child or a blustering buffoon he would start to gain respect. Until that happens he is going to suffer jokes and nicknames.
To get respect you must first show you are worthy of it.
From your OP you seem to think Trump has no basis for his Tweet.

How can you be so sure?

Have you any idea how expensive it is to sue a sitting President?

It shouldn't be down to Obama to sue. It should be down to Trump to provide evidence.

If not, then we get into a position whereby Trump can tweet anything he wants in the safe knowledge that taking him to court will take a massive amount of money (as President he will have Federal funding to defend him) and time.

Would it not be better if he simply acted like a President, rather than as a gossipy sorority princess?
Sp...yes!...yes!..yes!....I agree, but why not refer to him as President Trump?
Your "joke" /"humour".....tends to weaken you otherwise salient remarks.
I think 'Chump' suits him and describes his attitude. I shall find it hard not to think of him by any other name now!
Bill Clinton was at one time referred to as Bill Clitoris but Trump the Chump sounds better.
