I don't actually believe this.

Samsung TVs use Android, so they should not be anymore vunerable than any other TV using Andriod (ie, most Smart Tellys). They can only really hack the TV by hacking Android, which I doubt they can do without Googles cooperation. I doubt Google have agreed to anything because that would be commercial suicide.

Like wise, the claim that iPhones were compromised is doubtful. They are encrypted on the device at either end and not at the server or during delivery. If they could do that, why all the litigation about the San Bernadino killers locked iPhones last year?

The wikileaks claims do not have a ring of truth on this occassion.

I thought that they all spied on their watchers. You can tell every time a presenter admits it with words to the effect of, "We'll see you later."

It is probably true, but it is done to target certain people, not Joe Bloggs on his front room watching Emmerdale. The embarrassment is how the hell do the CIA let their secrets get into the hands of enemy agents like Assange and Snowden.

I believe it's true as well.

Years back I was in Cyprus talking to a military bloke stationed there. He told me that they can listen in to phones. They don't do it to the general public unless for what ever reason you're on their radar. If they can do it to phones I can't see why they can't do it with smart TV's.

My smart TV is connected to the internet 24/7.
