I bet everything I own the government will give them a giant chunk of money or promise to pay a giant chunk of money over the coming years. I fear they will pretend to play hard ball but quietly sign away our funds just to keep on good terms with the EU.

How else do you suppose they will get anywhere near a descent trade deal? Pay, pay, pay. And like countless governments past will dress it up as the best deal available while selling the state gold for peanuts.
