If you actually read it there is an explanation. The EU budget for the cohesion fund to develop the infrastructure of 'deprived regions' was agreed years before we even thought about a leaving referendum . That budget runs until 2020 and we are legally committed to paying our previously agreed contribution.
All this was known before we thought about leaving the EU, it is NOT New!
It is just as if you buy something on credit and then want to end the arrangement early, you have to pay what was agreed before you can get out of the arrangement.

^ Not that it has anything to do with the question but I buy nothing 'on tic'. If I can't afford to pay cash for it I do without!
My motto is 'Never buy a band name, never buy anything that is advertised '
If a product is so poor that the manufacturer has to spend £millions on an advertising campaign to get people to buy it it can't be much good.
( Good ale needs no bush!)

I see Tora's been getting himself in a lather about something he didn't know before voting leave. Warnings prior to voting:
'The inclination across Brussels will be to treat the UK harshly so Brexit cannot be presented to other sceptical states as a cost-free option.'

Every one of AB's 'Brexit Brigade' should read Zac's Guardian link very carefully from end to end!
By the way I drive a Vauxhall Zafira supplied by motability ( my wife is disabled) . The reason for the choice is not advertising but common sense, I needed a 7 seat car so we can transport the grandchildren and the Zafira was the only one available with no advance payment.
Perhaps I should have said I never buy anything because of an advert!

Guess what... written Tuesday 31 May 2016 by the Guardian. Haha yep we did. We didn't believe it then and we find it even less palatable regurgitated. When will the echo chamber stop vomiting the same bile? The pyramid scheme is desperately recruiting new trance believers, the routes are open and free to all acolytes.. byee.
