Isn't this the kind of skilled migrant we should be welcoming?

Is one obvious tiny mistake a valid criteria for refusing an entire 66-page application when everything else seems to be legit?

Common sense has never been rife in our Civil Service.
I really hope this decision can be changed, K.......she has so much to offer.......x
It doesn't make much sense does it? One page out of 66 slightly awry - surely a chance to rectify that is all that's required.

Some bizarre decisions.
this is what I call a na na nana na decision. Someone with an axe to grind highlights a case that is technically deportable but does not apply common sense.
Yep, bet they were Remoaner.
Time the whole bloody system was overhauled, we are getting people entering illegally & staying here & then cases like this one where it wold be most beneficial for this lady to stay. I wonder if it is possible to sort out the Berk who has signed the deportation papers & apply a bit of pressure in that direction.

More than my Jobsworf, guv.
The discussion about whether or not to allow people to stay, together with decisions on whether to let people into the UK in the first place are one thing. Consider passengers intending to without entering the UK transit through within eight hours, from one flight to the other, at airports which close and are cleared for several hours during each and every night. They are instead forced to formally enter the UK, each and every one of them, and the whole thing shows how absurd the system is. Unlike in all but smaller regional airports elsewhere, every major airport in the UK closes like this - although I have been told that one of the Heathrow terminals may be an exception.
Are we getting the full picture, or just her side of the story?
Should the woman have been deported - No.

Isn't this the type of skilled migrant we should be welcoming - Yes.

This decision flies in the face of common sense.
Definitely a Jobsworth.
we should be welcoming people like her not turfing them out, there are plenty who could be sent packing as of no early use, economic migrants who don't have a pot to pee in.
