In the post below we get all the usual suggestions about how to deal with the islam issue matched by all the usual PC liberal protestations. Ok the floor is yours what do you suggest?

But that's exactly what we don't get.......apart from 'something must be done' (Erm.....ok) / lock em all up (yep, really practical) / round em up and deport them (to where?) /stop them coming in (horse gone....gate left wide open....by all governments)

I don't have any beyond what we do already, I suppose I'm attempting to brainstorm some new ideas rather than the usual ones. Not sure why you seem to find that offensive.

Maybe you could invite all Answerbank members to respond since I am not sure anyone would recognise themselves as 'right on brigade'. The bandying around of these meaningless phrases is a tirsome in my opinion and stifles meaningful debate

Not sure how else TTT was supposed to address the audience he was seeking replies from. It is certainly not offensive, just not PC.

Unfortunately I can't comment TTT. I have raised ideas but rather than discuss them the usual just poo-poo them with no real argument than 'you cant do that. Of course we all know things can be done, it just needs a strong leader which is something we dont have either in the Tory or Labour camps.

I'm not sure even UKIP have much to suggest apart from more police, less immigration and ban the burka- none of which would have stopped any of the recent attacks but might have a small long term effect

For the immediate future we are pretty much stuffed. Medium to long term there are solutions, if you have the back bone to implement them.

But as we see on here, many are not. One wonders how many of those are in a potential danger zone.

Yes he could, but he didnt and that is his style. Most on here are pretty intelligent and can work out what he is saying, if they want to.

YMB, you merely reinforced my point there, so thanks. I never claimed anyone had to all say the same thing, all I said was that there were less offensive ways to frame a question.

TTT, maybe if you postulate some practical ideas for solutions we could debate those. Or don't you (like me) have any, and you're merely using this fact to have a 'rightist bashing'?

One thing that I would like to see is more evidence that in mosques the preachers/leaders are preaching that killing in the name of Allah/Islam is not acceptable and anyone who does it will be a traitor to their god
