I watched that interview in disbelief that this person could possibly be our next Home Secretary. But then thought more kindly of her for helping the Tories. Good laugh, though!!
TTT....you know, and everybody else should know, that I am not a fair-weather Labour supporter. I have never missed voting in any election since I was first able to do so, and I have always voted for Labour.

I realise that won't make me many friends on here, but it doesn't bother me one little bit.
Corbyloon, apologies I was thrown because she was wearing the same clothes that she had on this morning!
Question Author
fair enough but really, you'd still risk this woman as home sec?
TTT....as I have already explained, there is little or no risk that she will be Home Sec, even if Labour wins.
Given her current shadow position, Mikey, why would that be?
Exactly when was it you made it clear you're not a fan of Diane, mikey?
I could be mistaken but I think it you have started telling us quite recently.
mikey
if she is suffering from stress now, what the hell happens when she is home secretary and the bombs start going off.
Question Author
right so is there a policy in Labour for not actually saying who will take the top jobs? I see! so is there a secret shadow cabinet in waiting? How very underhand.
Emmie....if she IS suffering from a mental health problem, it is highly unlikely that she will be Home Sec, IMHO.
If Labour were to win Corbyn would have a lot more talent to draw upon; those who refuse to serve in his shadow cabinet might want to serve in a real cabinet, if for no other reason than the fat salaries which come with the jobs.
so the current shadow cabinet might not get the jobs if they get in power, how curious.
I honestly think there is something wrong with that woman. Perhaps she's in early stages of dementia or altziemers...
Question Author
she's always been completely radio rental.
I agree with Patsy above^. Yes, part of me wanted to laugh, but it would seem cruel to do so because I think she is seriously mentally disturbed, her body language and diction is looking more a more like that of a disturbed 6 year old.
Holding a shadow cabinet position is no guarantee of getting the same job in government. Even if Labour were to win on Thursday she won't be Home Secretary. Corbyn may be many things but he is not totally bonkers (yet!).
Mikey, //as I have already explained, there is little or no risk that she will be Home Sec, even if Labour wins.//

Why? In his Manifesto launch speech Corbyn said “With Diane in charge of the Home Office – or words to that effect.

Khandro/Patsy, I said several days ago that she seems to have something wrong with her. No 'normal' person behaves like that.

I have not seen any of her interviews so am in no position to comment. However, judging by the comments I have read here she is either very incompetent at her job or wildly round the twist.
For Funks Sake is Sqad a psychiatrist now...jeez.
