Sounds like some folk jumping on the bandwagon, using it as an excuse to attack someone.

It seems odd but the police seemed pretty certain it wasn't terroist related. As with all these cases the truth/facts will come out before too long. Maybe things are not as they seem in this case. It's better to let the police investigate things in their own way, making sure not to tip off potential suspected accomplices before the police can investigate and arrest.

It could be a personal issue. Shouting Allah could have been used for effect after recent events.
