Agreed. As I have said on another thread Corbyn's just repeated his mantra that 'people voted for hope'. As the Tories gained the greatest number of votes and seats that must mean (by his own logic) that us Tories represented hope.

I was so worried overnight that we might have JC in Downing Street. It would have been a disaster. He promised all things to all men, and for some reason a lot of people actually believed him. We are just beginning to get the economy back on track, despite what is said. New hospitals are being built - wonderful New A & E dept in Leicester RI. Things will improve. I do hope something will be done for public sector workers' wages though, I didn't realise how badly they were treated.

The student vote was a major contribution as it is said they registered to vote following Corbyn's promise to abolish fees. Probably a good example was Clegg losing is 'safe' seat.

Zebo....I have tried to be as objective as I can over the last 20 odd hours. But some of the comments on this thread are atrocious.

Corbyn was widely vilified on here, for months. But when it came time for the British public to have their verdicts, he came up trumps. People were able to make their own minds up and he gained seats, at the same time as May lost seats.

It was said on "Any Qustions" tonight, that Mrs May has won a marvellous defeat. Its her that we should be questioning tonight, not Corbyn.
