Well June actually.
She's certainly stamped her winning authority on this new cabinet by changing virtually nothing.
I never understood why she would change it anyway. Surely if it was wrong she should have done it before, after all they were in Government.
I think she is in serious denial. I do not dispute the right of the Tories, as the largest party, to have first bash at forming a government, but she is not the person to lead it. She is mortally wounded; she should go now, and quickly, so that someone else might have a chance of salvaging something by raking among the cinders.
Up to a point I'd agree with ymb -- certainly I'd see little sense in moving Davis, Johnson and Fox, with a view to continuity in the Brexit negotiations (even if the approach changes, should the staff?). But to move exactly nobody from a top job, even Hammond -- who's come in for some criticism as Chancellor -- is a surprise.

And finally there's that comment from Fallon on this morning's Marr show, something like: "We're going to see, I hope, a more collective decision-making cabinet. I, and other senior colleagues, have made that clear to [Theresa May]."

The Prime Minister, but not the leader...

Sorry ymb, Theresa June !.
Maybe she knows she won't be around for much longer so wants some temporary continuity until someone takes over and puts their own team in place

How two faced can Boris be, he is saying now , support TM , we all know he will stab her in the back , first chance he gets , all Boris thinks of, is himself.
"...all Boris thinks of, is himself."

In that respect he is no different from TM or any other of the self-servers vying for top dog.
Shuffling the pack, Mrs May doesn't hold any 'aces'.
She's holding a Yarborough, which in Bridge terms means no cards higher than a nine.

Strong and Stable, trouble is she did not lock the stable door.
Well Jack, May lost her North-ern Powerhouse,James Wharton and now it's a right cribbage!
