Well, that's one possibility of course - how awful.
Horrendous, poor man.
They were having an argument and she pushed him away from her. Unfortunately he happened to be standing on the edge of the railway platform at the time and a non stopping train was just a few yards away !
If that is the case , then why is the charge - murder ?
They must think intentional if she is charged with murder?
It would definitely be murder if she saw the tram coming and waited to push him. I suppose there will be cctv to support the murder claim.

A Lesson to us all, dont stand on the platform edge when having a barney!

Eddie, where did you find that, Link?
Found this but cannot vouch for it's accuracy.

//Eyewitnesses allege that an argument occurred between the two after the man asked the woman to stop swearing in front of children. The man was pushed and ended up between the tram and the platform or wall (only a couple of inches gap) and was fatally injured. The woman was telling people that she didn't mean to push him.

Tragic all round, two lives wasted over a trivial matter.//

In a case like this it is normal to charge murder at first until the facts are investigated. Remember a charge once laid can not be 'upgraded' manslaughter to murder for example, but it can be down graded or abandoned entirely.

If the argument that went wrong is proved it's going to be accidental death, and no charges. That looks the most likely to me. Remember while it is being investigated there will be a reporting ban on any witness statements to avoid prejudice in a possible trial.

jesus funny sense of humour even for 3T

the photos are St Petersfield and not Victoria - which is kinda where the bomb went off - and on the Bury / Rochdale lines there are always a few crazies lurking.... -
well it depends on what she was thinking /intending at the time

gone up in my lifetime from intention to injure to intention to injure really seriously

The girl who stuffed a ciggie butt into the letterbox of the cosmetic shopt ( burnt down and claimed the life of a fireman) wasnt even charged - - she hung around whining - "I feel orful - I nevva even fort it would start a fire.." - -
intention to be hopelessly gormless wont found a criminal charge
