Uncompassionate Theresa May .....
60 Answers
What is wrong with this woman, she must be the most uncompassionate person ever!!
Corben, The Queen, Prince William, the London Mayor and others have all shown compassion by meeting 'real' people whereas this woman didn't go near them, instead her visit to the emergency services was staged managed, the same as her election campaign.
The sooner she is gone the better!

Incidentally, whilst the victims are no doubt wondering what to do, they aren't standing around without a roof over their heads.

Not a fan of Polly Toynbee, but she summed it up rather well when she wrote:
// What a contrast was Jeremy Corbyn’s visit, hugging and embracing victims, promising to guarantee that never happens. No one could have devised a better parable to convey the difference between the two parties than those two leaders’ visits. No doubt Grenfell residents would have shouted at the prime minister – but after her hermetically sealed election campaign, this confirms that a leader who dare never meet her people is truly done for. //

She has demanded a 'Public enquiry' but it is ONLY to try to avoid a full inquest. Information can legally be withheld from a public enquiry where a full inquest can demand it is made available. An inquest is also able to return a verdict that victims were 'unlawfully killed'
( which in the present situation looks likely) where a public enquiry can make no such decision .
May and the Tory party are doomed if there is a full coroner's inquest, it is well documented that Conservative ministers have repeatedly blocked legislation to ensure the compulsory installation of sprinkler systems!!
