Just found this on a news channel. The person who reported her used the 999 system. not a good use of the system.

Dougie....I am aware of that. Her Maj wasn't being driven at dangerous speeds, but wearing a seat belt would have set a good example.

And I agree that Diana does live on in our hearts, but if she had been wearing her seat belt, she would probably still be here with us in her entirety.
You probably need to read more of dougie's posts, Clarion, as the massive dose of sarcasm has clearly been lost on you. I'd be more concerned about your own casual racism, to be honest.
10C...why the implied racism at 07:43 ?
Ridiculous. The person who reported it can't have anything better to do. She's being driven a mile at a snail's pace on roads cleared of all other traffic. Fuss over nothing.

neither does her royal car have plates ! as a child on holiday in the highlands her big glass car forced us off the road near Braemar on one of those wee roads..Dad got out after catching up with them and gave the driver what for !!
10C...it isn't accurate at all, just racist. Post reported.

What on earth does this have to do with race?

//Under UK law, civil and criminal proceedings cannot be taken against the Queen.//

a sensible comment at long last
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crown_Proceedings_Act_1947

oops I take that back - the quotes "civil proceedings cannot..."
should be "civil proceedings can now of course be taken against the sovereign as a result of the Crown Proceedings Act 1947"

My Bad - Nigh was complaining about my little inaccuracies ("dowright crap" I think were the words used) a few says ago

sozza Mama improving your posts again but I think it needed it dubbl soza
I think Mikey is being a tad over sensitive. Stay away from the report button!

And I also agree that Diana lives on in our hearts.

There a hat-trick of whooshes
Peter Pedant, //My Bad - Nigh was complaining about my little inaccuracies ("dowright crap" I think were the words used) a few says ago //

They're not my words. You must be thinking of someone else.

10ClarionSt, //Naomi, all I did was point out that the report came from an area of the country where there is a large immigrant population.//

So what? I can't see the relevance.
Ummmm....someone other than me got the post removed !
