"all 75 High-Rises Tested So Far Have Failed Fire Safety Regulations In England"

Reported on tonight's CNN.
All? I can think of only two plausible explanations for this.
One (the charitable version) is that today's standards are more rigorous than those applied at the time of the original build/upgrade/refurbishment.
If, however, the standards haven't changed, then I'm left with only two alternative explanations: that all the original inspectors were incompetent, or that they were all .
I invite younger, more agile and more inventive minds to suggest further explanations.

I thought it had been decided within hours, by Corbyn, McDonnel, and the fragrant Abbot, that Mrs May was guilty. Indeed she was to be charged with murder only this week. Surely our continued investigation into this is an attempt to pervert the truth?
Meanwhile, McDonnel in the mid-Eighties worked(is that the right word)as Head Of Policy for Camden Council. He must be certain that he bears no culpability for the failures of social housing in London over recent Decades. Talking of Camden, more that 3,000 residents had to be evacuated from several blocks during the weekend, the flammable cladding was fixed in 2006 by a Labour Council working under the Blair Government. Oohh I bet those residents are still happy with the confected outrage and shrieks of poisonous blame used by the Left wing agitprop mob. Sinister manipulation of the British people is the order of the day.

Togo, the Camden residents had to be evacuated immediately because in addition to the cladding issue, there were missing fire doors, other fire doors with no closures and gas pipes had been installed INSIDE the designated escape route! It was quite literally a 'Death Trap' !
If it had caught fire it would have literally exploded once the gas pipes inside the escape route went up!

I am sure there were all those things Eddie. Do you think that the missing doors were never fitted? Or the closers removed by people who considered them a nuisance because they had to keep opening the doors? Do you also think that the rogue gas pipes were perhaps "additions", for heaven knows what reasons, to the original pipe work?
