Terrible Policing failure at Bristol...clearly due to racial bias. This poor man.

Appalling crime but I guess there must have been something more on the news that isn't in the link.

TTT's post is laudable. I very much doubt that anyone anywhere condones even the smallest part of any of the story cataloguing this tragedy. Is it a unique case ? I doubt that just as much. Will it happen again ? I am more certain about that than I am what the weather will be like 12 hours from now, in fact it is highly likely to be going on as I write this. Are systems failing in the UK.....? Lots/most to varying degrees. "Sorry" is a useless word to utter, always has been since the first child was forced to mouth it, over some trivial point of politeness, without even understanding its originally intended meaning which requires genuine regret.

Its worth remembering here that the Police didn't only fail to protect him.......they were part of the problem.

I am glad to see that 2 Plods were jailed and another 2 were sacked, but I wonder how many Police, higher up in the chain of command, were dealt with ?

Reminds me of the Pilkington case in Leicestershire a few years back. That one was a collective failure of agencies.

This poor guy, probably moved from his own hostile country for a better life and instead was greeted with death.

Why was norley only given 4 years? He should have had the book thrown at him as normal people do not burn human bodies then go to court and say they were "Deeply ashamed"

Well don't move to bristol would be 1, don't trust the police would be 2 especially if you've made many complaints and they ignore you and if you had to move to bristol then make sure you don't upset the local nutcases and if they accuse you of being a sex offender then get out of there pronto!
