I don't know all the details of this case, but it seems to have been bubbling over for many years, just like similar cases south of the Border.

I can recall driving through Mormon areas in Utah many years ago. There appeared to be wide-spread poverty, although the Church itself was brand new, and very white and looks impeccable.

This illegal bigamy thing is a little strange. Encourages multiple concubines instead. How folk live should be up to them, within reason. It's the abusive parts of that article that are more if a concern.

OG...don't really agree ....surely one of the main reasons against bigamy on this scale is the problems with in-breeding that will arise. These wives are often related....sisters, mother and daughters, etc.

I am not going to commet on this case asI am not familiar with it, but if someone wants to be in a relationship with more than 1 wife and sister wives it does not affect me directly so why would I wish to stop it?
