Strange....
How there is no outcry on AB about streets being shut down for this - yet just the other week they were on here complaining about Pride shutting down the streets!
I wonder why?

We may have pals who are cyclists or work with folk who are cyclists but why can they not have a wee pedal up and down a quiet country lane? Why do these folk need to flaunt the fact that they're cyclists?

"No joy in the joy of others is a sad life.....x"
Is it?
"how bitter some are at the thought of others being happy and how they just cannot celebrate or join in the happiness of others......."
Really?.....I don't mind other people being happy as long as i don't "have" to be happy with them.....or indeed join then in their happiness. Some people cannot or find it difficult or even nonsensical to walk around all day with a continual grin on their face. I would have thought that "happiness" was more of an "inner feeling" rather than the time dated signs of outward happiness.
Why can't happy people just be ....happy....without criticising the "unhappy " folks........i.e go and be happy somewhere else.
I am always, well nearly always suspicious of happy people, are they really that happy, why do they go on and on about being happy, continually posting "happy" posts, which makes me ask myself......are they really happy?
Just a thought.............

There's the issue re prioritising happiness.
Suppose a gang of ten louts spot a weak victim. They figure they'd get great joy from beating the victim to a pulp. The victim isn't so keen, but what right have they to complain or stop it ? It's ten lots of joy and happiness to just one lot of misery. Happiness wins.

Get a bike, take your life in your hands cycling on dangerous roads (for which you don't pay the specific tax to use), blame the traffic you are inconveniencing, and who naturally find it difficult to spot you, if you get hurt or killed. Better yet, get some idiot Mayor to apply ludicrously low speed limits everywhere. Totally stress free for all.

Exactly why we need to spend billions on cycle lanes ... I think we should have it put on the side of a bus.
We send the EU £350 ... let's fun cycle lanes.
Fitter population less likely to be needing a visit to the NHS.
Come on folks get behind it ... you know it makes sense.
