I don't know what the confusion is about consorts. It's fairly traditional for the woman to take the husband's title, but not the other way round. It's often done with surnames still.

They'll probably give her a title like King's Consort or something to avoid the issue, depending on whether Charles makes a fuss about it or not.

Personally I don't care one way or the other.

Doesnt really matter what the public think. Legally she is Princess of Wales - she holds the title but just does not use it. If Charles becomes King, she will legally be Queen Consort. Changing her title was all a bit smoke and mirrors to appease the public.

I also do not think this documentary has done any more damage. Feelings are not running as high as they were in the post Diana years and this will all soon be forgotten by many.
