2016 - jumped from 500 to 600
that means 2015 was a hundred less than 1970

No one in particular. Just an observation from news stories over the years.

I'm not saying it's factual because obviously not all stories are reported but when I see stories of paedophiles reported, and I mean proper paedophiles, they tend to be white. Grooming of teenage girls using drink and drugs tend to be Asian.

I also don't think the police are scared of being classed as racist...not anymore! They have no choice but to make sure they have enough evidence to send the *** away for a long time.

Perhaps the answer to your question is that it correct that certain crimes are overwhelmingly committed by specific ethnic groups.

1. Sexual grooming is mainly Asian
2. Knife crime is mainly black
3. Paedophile rings (those involving very young children) are mostly white.

I'm going on what I see reported in the papers. Is this what you too have observed?

There is definitely a problem among young men from muslim cultures. Poll after poll keeps on showing how high a proportion of young muslims hold extremely troubling and illiberal views (was it 78% who thought the Danish cartoonists should have been killed?). Even the government's own research, combining interviews and focus groups with thousands of people in heavily muslim areas of the UK, has confirmed that plenty of older muslims consider this to be a serious problem and also feel that they ought to do more.

I think the problem with likening it to pedo rings, sp, is that those crimes do not have as strong a social aspect as these grooming gangs do. If the majority population is white in the UK, then if a pedo ring gets set up, you'd expect it to be white. The grooming gangs appear to be doing this as a social activity - i.e. drugging and raping girls together and passing them between each other like objects.
