perhaps it would have been more presidential if it had come in the same week as the incident. The delay just makes him look reluctant at best, sympathetic to the killer's ideology at worst.
I don't enjoy the religious aspects of his speeches but maybe it's to be expected in a country where Christianity is a bigger deal among politicians. I think he hit the right notes otherwise, albeit a little late.
Well, of course it is, who says it isn't, and what surprises, is why would anyone think that he didn't think so.
