But still as some will say, "they have always done this on Bank holidays, it is just that we didn't get to know about it, back then".

I think I'll leave this thread with a message to the moderator who is wildly removing things, some of which did not (in my opinion) did not need to go.
It's hard to find the gumption to reply when the question you're answering has gone.

I do not allow any of my personal information to be discussed on AB, so you will just have to put up with the one piece of information most know of and that is the fact that I was in the Royal Air Force, but then perhaps you did not know that or you would have realised that the Airforce do not fight in trenches.
Also to the obvious uneducated as you seem to be, there were many conscripted men who did fight in the trenches and in the air during both world wars.
And there were many National Service lads who fought and even gave their lives for this country even after WW2, so please do not belittle them.
Never mind your granddads, what have you ever done to for this country, except reap the benefits earned by those who have given part of their lives in service to this country.
And when I think of you, don't get me thinking of certain words beginning with a certain letter, that fits you perfectly.
