I don't think it's one sided, the two of them have a long history of bitter personal dispute.
Mr Field claims he has new information but we don't know what it is so it's difficult to say whether the legal warning is justified or not.
//Sir Philip accused Mr Field of giving a "disgraceful" radio interview last week
"You seem intent on continuing your personal and bitter attacks on me, making allegations, in my view, wholly without substance," Sir Philip wrote.
"You claim to have new dynamite evidence against me. How can this be the case when the document you referred to on the radio is not new; it is a document produced by the regulator last year?
"I have no idea what the case you mentioned has to do with me other than to assume you are using it as a further opportunity to attack me."//
From the op link. Bit of previous here by the looks of it.
well the law is pretty clear, we are all allowed to defend ourselves, - even people mikey doesn't like - against lies from anyone especially right on politicians with an axe to grind. I think Sir Philip is bang on. If Field has proof to back up his allegations then he has nothing to worry about.
As you posted before Mikey,"Mrs May attacks the unacceptable face of capitalism" . Eh!.
I tend to agree with TTT, Green should be banged up.

lol Garaman !
Well TTT has pretty much summed it up. If FF has the evidence then produce it and we will all (mostly) back him.

The problem is, although FF has done some sterling work in bringing this shyster to book, he still cant go around saying things without evidence. And Green is still a rich man who undoubtedly has a bunch of top briefs.

FF needs to let the personal gripes lie and go after Green using facts and the law.
