Not sure what's worse, getting caught drink driving or getting caught doing it in a beetle! Where's the Lambo son?

Stunning.
Just stunning.
If I were taking home anything like Rooney's salary, I would have a chauffeur.
In fact, I would probably pay for a chauffeur to follow me around, even when I was on foot.
It's common knowledge that Wayne isn't the sharpest tool in the book, but this story at least confirms he is a kind of tool.

I've never 'got' the whole drink driving thing: I can honestly say, hand on heart, I have never had a drink and then driven.
This may come across as pious - it's not meant to - but if I know I'm going to be having a drink, the car stays at home (it may be because my father used to drive absolutely plastered - but that may have been a generational thing. By sheer luck he was never caught).
Anyway - Rooney.
He has an undeniable talent, albeit waning, but let's face it, he's not exactly overflowing with brains, and if it were not for the fact he's a talented footballer, he'd probably just be nicking hubcaps in Liverpool.
