Well, she thinks they have - they don't think they have.

I think she simply isn't the role model they wanted, she'll get work elsewhere I'm sure.
She won't be fronting any big brand campaigns as she hasn't learnt to keep her opinions to herself.
She/he was sacked for inappropriate comments of a racist nature, obviously failing to see the irony in condemning the entire white population for the perceived ills of the entire black population.

Maybe should have stuck to being famous for being famous.

Ironic really that he accuses all white people of being racist thereby showing his own racism.
they haven't proved her point, they've sacked someone for making a wally of herself. There was almost certainly something in her contract about keeping her mouth shut (which, for instance, Kate Moss has done successfully these last 30 years).
I mentioned this on another thread today, but couldn't there have been another, teeny-weeny reason why she was sacked ?

In that photo on the link above, she looks plainly ridiculous, and not at all pretty or attractive.

That can't be her own hair surely ?
I don't see anything unattractive about her - she doesn't much appeal to me, but then neither does Kate Moss, who is none the less regarded as a humungously successful model.
jno....its awful hair....it looks like some old rope, or maybe a old-fashioned mop head.
They knew what she looked like before they hired her, mikey.
Mushroom - No, they haven't proved her point.

She was not sacked for her ethnicity, she was sacked for bringing her employers into disrepute.

Her choice to see their action as racist underlines her tendency to make ludicrous unfounded observations - and the correctness of their decision in cutting her loose.
Because the theme for this season is diversity, mikey. They wanted a wide range of people to represent their brand
And this is the best they could find ?
They may be more natural "looking" Mikey, but everyone of them will be wearing enough makeup to keep the ladies if AB going for 6 months.;-)) Plus there may be photo shopping. Also, many models are not beautiful in the classic sense...It's what they convey either on camera or the catwalk.
Here is one model, for Chanel, that was truly beautiful, and still is IMHO.

Mikey, this was a sacking for racist comments. Not because she looks like a man.
Pixie....yes, I know that and I support L'Oreal......I just thought I might broaden the debate a tad.
I think pasta has covered that. Everyone's tastes are different though.
I expect they liked the look when they were hiring. L'Oreal haven't proven the point. He was sacked because he made racist comments thereby exposing himself as racist. What more is there to say?
She*, she*, her*

I appreciate that she hasn't shown much respect, but it doesn't do well to sink to her level.
