I've also mentioned this in a previous similar thread: on holiday as a child I remember parents often leaving their children in their chalets with only a person walking around the site with an ear to doors listening for crying kids.
My parents left us alone for evenings for a short time. They were not neglectful.

They should just have defaulted on the mortgage payments, whilst they weren't working, lost the house and made themselves and the twins homeless.
I'm sure (judgemental) people would have thought that was just desserts.
They used the monies on a couple of occasions.....
That's what threads like this are for Kathyan.....to pick over the bones and make judgements on relationships and lifestyles about which we have no real knowledge.....
Sqad, I won't out the individual but they know who they are.
I don't have children myself and consequently won't pass an opinion, I did share the first hand experience of someone who knows the resort well and is someone whose judgement and opinion I respect.
