She isn't going to be happy with a black current display then is she?
by that criterion, there isn't a crop or a farm animal in America that isn't racist because anything grown or farmed in the southern states used slave labour
Stop giving this stuff attention. I'm looking at you, DM.
The woman's a cretin.
I've often though that the name Aussies give to a species of trees growing in the outback might not be entirely politically correct (even if it's not actually racist). Here's a picture of a 'black boy':

;-)
Methinks she's just a huge attention seeker.
Oh look at me.......I've said something that makes me stand out........yes, as a silly Jilly...
There's this thing that's happening on the Internet, and it goes like this:

1. Someone will post something on social media, and because newspapers know that they can scrape Facebook, Twitter and Instagram for content (rather than paying reporters to actually do some investigative journalism) they will print the story.

2. Even though the person originally posting the story on social media might be a complete loon, it gets traction.

3. Once it's got traction, others will ask, "Is this racist". The vast majority of sane people will say, "No".

4. The effect of this is to encourage a narrative that suggests that just about everything that deemed racist isn't.

5. Real stories of racism are then ignored.

All the above happens every single day online. It's the new normal.

That's a 'no' then?
If they ban cotton then they must ban Tea , coffee, and sugar as well.

Does she wear cotton do you suppose? Or sackcloth and ashes?
Is she a publicist for Hobby Lobby? Never heard of them until now.
Rubbish.
Jourdain I was thinking the same, never heard of them either but now they have had a few thousand more views of their web site , all for free.
maybe she's a disgruntled sweaty polyester wearer, knickers and all
Well burning a poppy is considered an abhorrent act.

It is not the plant itself that is racist, but what it represents.
