/// He said the 'level of influx of multi-national workers in this country has sort of confirmed how lazy as a nation we are - when individuals from across the seas are prepared to come and work twice as hard for less money'. ///
Does he realise that it may be less money to us but a great deal more than they can earn in their own countries, which in turn keeps our earnings low, why else do they clammer to come here?

Foreign workers know the pay here is much better than in their native country so it's worth more to them than it is to a UK native. Also they've probably had difficulty earning a good standard of living in their native country so have developed an acceptance of working hard to try to improve their life. i have a great deal of citizens in my town from all over EU
and not regarding the work ethic of them I've yet to see one standing outside a pup talking loud smoking likes there's no tomorrow and of course half cut, this is this the afternoons ! i see some sitting outside costas and neros etc quietly chatting and drinking coffee ,British youth only want office jobs doing nothing for the economy,as pete waterman says (and does) get them interested in apprenticeships with a decent wage while there are on one, office jobs can vanish overnight but electricians plumbers carpenters etc will always be needed and its good money

Well there's a thing, I thought they were all hard working crop gathers and plumbers etc.
Could they in fact be, no different from the 'Lazy Brits' that Ramsay is going on about?

As usual the law of supply and demand applies. Employers want workers as cheap as possible, if migrants are willing to work for a farthing a fortnight then the employers are happy to exploit them. If we were to stop the influx of cheap labour then employers would have to offer more dosh to tempt the WSS out from in front of their 60 inch plasmas. Wages are low and the sink estates are full of WSS because of the availability of cheap labour, simples.
I'm not lazy, I worked 43 years full-time, my Dad wasn't lazy, he worked from 14 up until his mid 70's, my Uncle did the same and my nephew has worked hard every day of his life since he started work at 18 over 20 years ago and his wife has worked hard too. We are not all lazy Ramsay you utter PRAT !!!
