Why are women's nipples such a big deal?

Any child growing up right now could easily believe that the shape of women's nipples is black and square (if they've ever looked at a newspaper online).

Why are they so 'offensive', but mens' aren't?

Papers will pixellate a woman's nipple, but leave the rest of the boob unadulterated.

The male parts do not make pleasant viewing, I recall seeing a strange late night cable programme many years ago where men's bit were on display for some reason, one chap was very well endowed even 'at rest', talk about knock knee!

Baz, if the Campaign was regarding testicular cancer then I would have no objection the penis/testicles being visible in such an advert.

I don't think the aim is for pleasant viewing, more an awareness to help save lives.
