She never had a chance did she ?
Why didn't this scumbag of a father send her to bed for 15 minutes? Then he would've known where to look for her - safe and sound in her room.
she had developmental difficulties and was malnourished and he lost his rag with her? makes you wonder about the adoption process.....

No, and she was beautiful.

I know that I am not responsible enough to bring up a child and, at 54, that is not going to change.

Miss Ass - three year old is still very young. It was three in the morning. Even I would be struggling to drink milk then.

I start my voluntary job at one so had better toddle.
Poor little lass, such a tragedy.

I see that while the mother's not been charged, she's also "stopped cooperating" - my mind boggles, truly.

Her father sent her out of the house at 3am as a punishment? God!! That is awful!! The mind boggles!!!
I suspect that, as well as the girl, the father also "suffers from developmental issues" ...
With a father like that it's no surprise she suffered from "developmental issues". Poor little girl.
The bit I find chilling is after putting her out at 3 am he discovered her missing after 15 minutes and he was " not too worried". Incredible.
I don't know anything about American law but here this would be classed as manslaughter. To kick a three-year-old out of the house at 3 am because she wouldn't drink her milk? He needs locking up for a very long time.
I think we may be discussing somebody who is very subnormal intellectually. That would make everything a lot more understandable when considering the father, though no less heartbreaking when considering the daughter.
If they are educationally sub normal why o why were they allowed to adopt a child?
##I think we may be discussing somebody who is very subnormal intellectually. ##

Then why was he allowed anywhere near an adoption agency? Unless, of course, it was unofficial.
I'm leaning towards unofficial too Jack.

Have no idea how building up someone's system works, but 2 years seems to be a long time to be seriously malnourished whilst in the 'care' of her 'parents'
Hideous. There again two mothers are currently in custody charged with murdering their toddlers in separate events in the UK just this weekend.
Good Lord...
and he said he'd seen coyotes in the alley he'd left her in.
Will they look at the father as a suspect I wonder? If the mother was asleep there are no witnesses to what actually happened.
A downside of using Twitter is stories like this pop up on your feed ... http://www.fox5atlanta.com/news/father-holds-funeral-for-his-two-boys-after-mother-charged-with-their-murder

Sickening.
I wouldn't be surprised if they find evidence of one of the "parents" at the dump site.
What proof was there that the Mother was asleep?
Birch this monster till he bleeds and screams for mercy.
