I wonder hoow this makes the victims of violent crime at the hands of these scum feel?

Why is it we have allowed our prisons to become such lax places. And where is the security, if you can get a mobile in then you can get anything in.

Yes YMB, our prisons are like Butlins, we should outsource it to somewhere that knows how to run a nick. Thailand, Turkey somewhere like that. Our poor pensioners are not as well off as our scum crims with 3 squares a day, games, TV, gym, Christ they have a better Saturday night than most of us and no jack an jills. I was only saying that getting myself banged up for life would be a sensible retirement plan.

I have agreed that tighter security is needed re prisoners using illegal phones etc, it is my opinion(no one is obliged to share it) that by also showing their poses they have got the attention they crave.

It all starts with the police!. A man has just been arrested for impersonating a police officer. He was queuing up for a ride on the dodgems, wearing a hi viz jacket, red high heels, an animal face mask and painted nails.

Nailit, I was about to say... it's amazing how many people describe them as holiday camps and the lap of luxury, but don't put their money where their mouth is to end up in one. Why would that be?

Never been inside coz never been caught. In my opinion, the only views worth considering are from those poor souls who have done time. Yes some deserve long stays but we are not expert enough to pontificate.

I mentioned on another thread a few days ago about someone I knew who got a jail sentence for theft. He was ex forces, scared the bejesus out of me, a bit of a hard case. Got sentenced and cried in the dock.... Had a bit of a rough ride inside as well. No Butlins for him.

Ive done several jail sentences and the thought of going back still unnerves me. Always got through my time without incident, never bullied, kept my head down etc, but the reality is far different than that portrayed by the media.
