Corbyn Refuses To Attend Israel Dinner
Netanyahu in London, centenary of Balfour Declaration, next week. But the a-hole is happy to send Emily Thornberry, shadow foreign minister. Why has he not got the balls to attend, or explain why he wishes not to attend. And why leave it to Thornberry (Lady Neuberger)?

Haha switched on aint he? :))
//Some of us are adults and act like it - the site has no age guidance or restriction. //
Even more Haha. Have you heard how the "kids" speak to each other? They keep away from AB in case they are unable to say it without swearing and "upsetting" the precious. Mainly at the weekend. Ed and Ex Ed, were and, are well able to discern what is truly offensive. What they both fail to address is the power hungry. heady, self importance of the weekend gatekeepers. Bless. :))

JC does appear to be anti semetic, but in this particular case I really dont see the problem with him not attending whether he is or whether he is not.
And anyway with his clear support for Hamas would it not be hypocritical of him to go? I'm sure we wold end up with a thread about just that.
So, in theis case, go on yer JEzza for sticking to your principles.

Corbyn will be wearing his flip flops soon anyway.
A staunch anti EU MP he now scurry over there for nosebag trough talks as soon as he thought he could benefit politically.
Although name calling is rather childish the fact some people have been 'offended' by Corbyn referred to as an a-hole is laughable. Partly because he is but mostly because there are some on this site that use far worse name calling than that.

I'm still not really sure why Corbyn's stance on Israel-Palestine is such a decisive factor for so many people. I've seen no evidence that the guy hates jews - at worst, he just seems to be wilfully ignorant or quite naive about how to resolve the conflict (i.e. calling Hamas "friends" at a meeting). A character flaw, yes, but I'm not sure it backs up the allegations of jew-hating (which is what the rather clinical phrase "anti-semitic" means).
Either way, though, even if he became PM then it is very hard to imagine how his views on Palestine could possibly affect anything as UK influence on the issue is negligible anyway.

Kromo //It just seems to be one of the most frequent points he gets criticised over, by people who would otherwise be indifferent to the issue. //
I'm not clear what you mean by that, are you suggesting that some of us criticizing him are really indifferent to Israel, but use his stance on it as an excuse to attack him?
