He was told 10 times to drop the knives, but failed to do so needing the officer to taser him.

Had he later died from the effects of the taser, his family and friends would have took to the streets demanding action against the police.

When are they going to get tough on knife crime, there have been two fatal stabbings in London this week, the 12 months sentence is a joke.

Thank you AOG, I had forgotten the Ratham Charles case. It was botched arrests like that one that heralded the introduction of the police bodycams.
Charles did not have any illegal drugs, did not resist arrest and died while in the police’s care.

He did resist arrest that is why the police ans a civilian were forced to bring him down to the ground and held him there, whilst trying to remove a package of what was later found to be a mixture of paracetamol and caffeine wrapped in plastic, that was blocking his airways, he later died in hospital and two post-mortem examinations were carried out.

The inquest will be delayed until June 2018.

I think you must be getting it mixed up with another case AOG. The arrest is on CCTV and there is no resisting, and no civilian aiding the arrest. It is here...

you know in court QC - officer did you arrest him or CARDIAC arrest him ?
Officer ( for it is he) the second kind
QC - the permanent kind - and then did he try to further resist arrest ?- blah blah - I love court scenes like that

and have you noticed they have started to shoot on sight people who carry knives if they shout allahu akbar ?
