Naomi - // Too long. A short sharp lethal injection administered asap would be better – and if anyone tells me that’s an emotional reaction, it isn’t. //
Of course it isn't - you make your attitude on capital punishment known at every and any opportunity.
And I think that says something about you as a person.

Mushroom's link says he shows no remorse. I wonder if he actually feels any remorse.
The child would be alive if the doctor hadn't missed the second fracture (for those who didn't read the report) because then they would have known it wasn't an accident. And if I heard a man screaming obscenities at a crying child I would have called the police. I've done it for animals so I sure would have done it for a child. Several neighbours heard this at different times but I don't think it was ever reported. I'm still wondering where the other adopted child is now as that is surely another life changed forever.

I dont agree with the lethal injection or any other type of capital punishment for two reasons..

2) Apparently, it works out far more expensive to execute someone than to keep them in prison for the rest of their life, due to the appeals etc. according to a USA site I read on the subject some months ago.
