I completely understand why people feel this way, and I did not say that feeling this way makes them 'resemble anyone like Rose West' because that is not what I believe the effect to be.

What I do believe is that spending valuable time getting worked up about the potential demise of someone like Mrs West does no good for the thinker, and is a waste of emotional energy which could be better employed elsewhere.

I don't see anyone getting particularly worked up or emotional about about it. Just remarking on the good news that the world will have one less evil person in it.
