Trump Supports Britain First !
Answers
Naomi, do you believe everything you read? I have not personally investigated JaydaBF's posts to see whether they are true. From reading around, it seems that they are not. I might have guessed they wouldn't be, based on past form. It makes no difference to me, because I'm not retweeting them. I get my news from more reliable sources, not those with a vested...

The perfect answer:
/// Don't focus on me, focus on the destructive Radical Islamic Terrorism that is taking place within the United Kingdom. ///
This is surprising:
/// Britain First's aim has been to make noise on Facebook and other networks rather than to get people elected. The group has nearly 2m likes - far outpacing the Labour Party (1m) and the Conservatives (650,000). ///

//Do you mean, "Why are people hell-bent on causing death and destruction and in recruiting others to join their cause also occasionally dishonest?"//
No, the question is why do such people use the war cry "Allahu Akbar!" when they could just as easily use something else like "Jesus Saves!" or "This if for Trump!".

Let’s deconstruct this...
Throwing people off buildings- bad
Posting videos of people being thrown off buildings- bad
Not checking facts - bad
Being deliberately misleading in order to garner duped support - bad
Making unsubstantiated claims over who was doing what to whom - bad (shoddy journalism; fake news)
Retweeting those claims - bad, especially if you are POTUS
Interfering in the politics of the UK when you are POTUS - bad
Condemning Islamist terrorism - good
Condemning any form of terrorism - good

Obvious isn't it -Talbot- ? They claim it is in the name of Islam because that is a warped version of Islam that they wish to be dominant. By calling it Islam they hope to persuade the gullible to support them and make it awkward/fearful for others in their community to speak out. But the majority of Muslims don't agree it is anything to do with Islam and will see the terrorists as a dangerous cult that mars their reputation. Most folk simply want to live in peace with their family and friends, and to prosper.
A retweet indicates support unless there is supporting commentary that says otherwise, which there was not in this case.
What's probably particularly upsetting to Theresa May, a female MP, is that "Britain First" were the words shouted by Thomas Mair as he murdered Jo Cox, a female MP, only last year. So for Trump to retweet three Britain First tweets was meddlesome and insensitive.

Did Trump think those videos were filmed in the UK? One was the Netherlands (and by all accounts involved actual Dutch people), one was Egyptian and the other Syrian.
And his spokesperson claimed that the fact the videos may not have been genuine was irrelevant!! So some fake news is obviously acceptable.
We have reached the state now where the govt is reduced to not wanting to call off the state visit, but doing everything it can to hold it off for as long as possible, maybe till after 2020 :-)

I have said at various times since President Trump was elected, and this does somewhat underline the point I made -
Twitter is not a dignified and appropriate way for the President Of The United States to convey his thoughts to the world.
For exactly the same reasons it is occasionally unsuitable for anyone - Twitter gives an opportunity for instant emotional ill-considered thoughts and views to be posted late at night from over-refreshed individuals who would probably reconsider in the cold light of day.
If you are Samantha from Essex, no harm done, if you are the leader of the free world, then an element of thought, common-sense, and acceptance of consequences are required - something President Trump consistently fails to understand.

Mikey, //What have I made up about Trump Naomi ?//
“Trump Supports Britain First !”
You made that^ up!
//what amazes me is that there are people, here on AB, that have viewed all his gaffs and plain nastiness, just as everybody else has, and then pretend that he isn't a racist, and misogynist !//
Speaking what to you are unpalatable truths makes him neither a racist nor a misogynist. What amazes me is that there are people here on AB who refuse to acknowledge that those he is criticising warrant criticism – but are nevertheless plain nasty. You have a very nasty habit - downright spiteful actually - of sticking derogatory labels on people you don’t like - but you forget to follow up with your usual ‘bigot’ this time.

Naomi....by re-tweeting tweets from BF, he was giving them the oxygen of publicity, which everybody, including Mrs May now admits was wrong....he was legitimising BF by his actions.
BF doesn't need to be legitimised.....the organisation needs to be condemned for trying to stir up racial hatred....again a sentiment echoed by our PM.
Jayda Fransen was convicted of religiously aggravated assault for shouting at a woman in a hijab last year.
A few days ago, she was charged with employing "threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour" and is due to appear at Belfast Magistrates' Court on 14 December.
