That the Prime Minister was/is a target for terrorists should not surprise anyone. It does not vindicate President Trump’s crass interference in UK matters.

Whilst I have no doubt this plot was real, the timing of their arrest and capture, just hours after a highly critical report (that suggested the Manchester attack could have been averted), is very convenient.

Does anyone understand what Trump was concerned about ? We have much more experience of terrorism than the States have had, although they seem to go for massive events rather than continuous threat level.

Meanwhile May isn't doing well, but I don't think it warrants assassination somehow.

We are not interfering, we are commenting on the news. We do not have any power, or 20 million Twitter followers. If Gromit or AOG says it, then no one takes much notice. If President Trump says it, then it is news.
