I think if Labour were in power they would negotiate to stay in. I think this simply because they have to be contrary to the opposition lol However I also think they would still do a crap job of it as the Conservative s have. Because they don't have any hard hitting negotiators either. I also think they would have capitulated to the EU a lot sooner than May has done....

I also think they would have capitulated to the EU a lot sooner than May has done. They would also have given £100b easily. I think that is something they said early on isn't it?
So overall I think we would have been worse off under Labour.
Having said that I think we are going to get the best of the BAD deals. Not a good deal in its own right.

Labour may well have given in to many of the EU demands mainly because a lot of them refuse to represent their voters and are in tune with the EU.
That said i suspect even if the Labour party had given in(on the things they believe in) the EU would just have pushed further so I really dont think labour would be any further along. It is the EU who have been intransigent not the UK.

Davis has ‘negotiated’ for months and got nothing.
Labour wpuld have got nothing a lot quicker. Because that was the easy part. The trade negotations are the most important part, and should have taken the majority of the time. But because of Davis’ ineptitude, we are left with little time left for this most crucial task.
