More Diversity In The Church Is Needed
Answers
Personally, I couldn't care less if she is a man or a woman. But I heard this woman being interviewed on the Today Programme this morning. I have no idea as to views on anything as she refused to answer pretty much every question that she was asked.

From the article:
"She said yesterday: ‘If our churches are going to be more relevant to our communities, that means increasing churches that are led by priests who are women, who come from black, Asian and minority ethnic groups.’"
To which I'm inclined to respond: Why?
St. Paul to the Galatians:
"For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus."
Your reaction Naomi is the reaction I have and I am sure many more do whenever I see someone from a so called minority in a job where they seem to be out of their depth. It is usually the public sector where diversity box ticking trumps the ability to actually do the job. Of course once they are in that position then it's difficult to remove them as some of them invariably play their joker (the race card for example).
